Job summary

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon seeks a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to perform and report a range of advanced cardiac investigations, including invasive and non-invasive tests, with opportunities to support service development and teaching.

You will work with Cardiac Physiology Service Managers and lead clinicians, develop SOPs in line with guidelines, stay current with best practice, participate in audits, and contribute to patient education within a busy,

Responsibilities

• To perform, interpret and report on advanced cardiac diagnostic tests, including cardiac ultrasound and rhythm management devices, providing information to patients and clinicians.
• To work in partnership with Cardiac Physiology Service Managers and lead clinicians on a day-to-day basis.
• To develop and implement standard operating procedures and guidelines within the department to support service delivery.
• To remain current in best practice guidelines and contribute to service development and audits.
