Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board is recruiting a Specialist Clinical Physiologist (Cardiac) at Band 6 for a full-time, 37.5 hour week. The post features an Annex 21 18-month training programme with staged pay, and a structured pathway to full competency within the specialist cardiac team.

We welcome qualified Cardiac Physiologists or current Cardiac Physiology students. Morriston Hospital offers extensive invasive/non-invasive studies and strong development opportunities within a teaching

Qualifications

• BSc Clinical Physiology/Cardiac Science required.
• ILS and regulatory registrations (RCCP/AHCS/HCPC) are required.
• ALS qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations.
• Lead and supervise trainees; manage workload prioritisation.
• Participate in a busy PCI, ablation and remote monitoring service and clinical clinics.
• Commit to professional development and maintaining registration.
