Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Specialist Cardiac Physiologists to join the Cardiac Physiology team at Basildon. The role covers both tertiary and secondary care pathways from the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, with opportunities to extend skills into advanced sub-specialties.

The post requires independence in reporting on cardiac investigations such as transthoracic echocardiography and brady follow up checks, with on-call rotation in interventional labs for pacemaker

Formación

• Qualifications commensurate with registration with RCCP or HCPC as Cardiac Physiologist / Cardiac Clinical Scientist
• Degree in Cardiac clinical physiology
• Post graduate education equivalent to MSc level in relevant to role Cardiac Physiology subject

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialist skills covering a range of basic and advanced procedures with practice underpinned by relevant academic attainment and practical experience.
• Develop highly specialist clinical knowledge and skills in advanced techniques.
• Participate in training and supervision of the Cardiac Physiology team.
• Carry out administrative duties to support management of the department.
