Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Capital Project Manager (Band 7) to coordinate and manage capital investment, backlog maintenance and estates safety projects at Scunthorpe General Hospital. The post requires extensive on-site experience and strong stakeholder engagement with clinicians, managers and contractors.

Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering is desirable, with responsibility for planning, delivery and performance management within the Estates,

Qualifications

HNC/HND in Building Services / Construction in Built Environment or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of three years’ experience managing construction/refurbishment/mechanical or electrical projects.
Clear understanding in the use of CAD.

Responsibilities

Provide project management and support to ensure outputs are delivered effectively.
Lead on one or more projects, planning, day-to-day delivery and performance management.
Work with clinicians and managers to optimise patient experience and service delivery.
Oversee risk and issue management and ensure interdependencies are managed.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet evolving objectives.
