DBTH Doncaster Royal Infirmary in Doncaster is seeking a Senior Capital Projects Manager (Band 8a) to lead a high‑quality, cost‑effective estates capital programme on multiple sites. The successful candidate will deputise for the Head of Capital Infrastructure, shape strategic plans for the Capital Planning Unit, and oversee delivery of major and minor schemes.

Qualifications

Experience delivering Estates, Facilities & Capital construction & equipment projects in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of HTM/HBN guidance and NHS practices.
Proven ability to manage major change programmes in the public sector.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

Act as Senior Project Manager within the Capital Planning Unit and deputise for the Head of Capital Infrastructure.
Lead strategic planning for the Capital Planning Unit and support the Head of Capital Infrastructure.
Deliver minor and major capital projects including site rationalisation, ward upgrades and compliance initiatives.
