Job summary

IGI - International General Insurance Co. Ltd. in London seeks a Senior Capital Analyst to join the Capital Team.

The role focuses on building and maintaining the capital model to support risk and capital management, reporting to the Head of Capital with occasional travel to Amman. The candidate should be nearly/newly qualified actuary with 3–5 years of capital modelling experience in P&C, and possess coding skills in R, Python, VBA, Igloo or Tyche.

Qualifications

• Nearly/newly qualified actuary with capital modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate and maintain the capital model using Tyche and deterministic models using Excel and Psicle.
• Maintain governance around documentation and change control.
• Source, validate and automate data inputs for models.
• Recalibrate the capital model and prepare reports for senior management.
• Support risk and capital analytics for business planning and reinsurance strategy.
• Produce quarterly and annual regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with risk management, exposure management, actuarial and other units.
