Job summary

Eames Consulting Group is working with a global insurer in the London Market seeking a Capital Actuary to join their Risk team. The role reports to the Head of Capital and touches investment, claims, underwriting and other risk areas.

The candidate will operate the internal model daily and deliver accurate qualitative and quantitative reports, with Igloo experience preferred; 3 days a week in the London office.

Qualifications

• Nearly/newly qualified candidates with excellent communication skills.
• 5 years' GI experience including 3+ in capital modelling.

Responsibilities

• Support capital modelling and internal model daily operations across balance sheet components.

Job description

We are currently working with a global insurance provider operating in the London Market. They are looking for a Capital Actuary to join their Risk team.

You will be reporting into the Head of Capital with exposure to both sides of the balance sheet including investment, claims, underwriting and other types of risk. You required to understand and operate the internal model day to day, as well as provide accurate qualitative and quantitative reports. Previous experience working with Igloo is preferred.

We are looking to speak with nearly/newly qualified candidates with excellent communication skills. Ideally looking for candidates with 5 years’ experience in any GI discipline including 3+ in Capital modelling.

The role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in the London office.
