Job summary

Eames Consulting Group is working with a global insurer in the London Market, recruiting a Capital Actuary to join the Risk team. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the London office.

You will report to the Head of Capital and contribute to internal model operation, capital reporting, and qualitative analyses across investment, claims, underwriting and other risk areas.

Qualifications

• Nearly or newly qualified actuary with about 5 years' GI experience, including 3+ years in capital modelling.
• Experience with internal models and capital reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to report to Head of Capital.

Responsibilities

• Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports for risk governance.

Job description

We are currently working with a global insurance provider operating in the London Market. They are looking for a Capital Actuary to join their Risk team.

You will be reporting into the Head of Capital with exposure to both sides of the balance sheet including investment, claims, underwriting and other types of risk. You required to understand and operate the internal model day to day, as well as provide accurate qualitative and quantitative reports. Previous experience working with Igloo is preferred.

We are looking to speak with nearly/newly qualified candidates with excellent communication skills. Ideally looking for candidates with 5 years’ experience in any GI discipline including 3+ in Capital modelling.

The role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in the London office.
