Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Senior Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance team in Northampton, delivering precision components with 3–5 axis CNC machines and automation. The role covers CAM programming (Siemens NX preferred), fixture design, and ownership of processes from concept to production.

You will support new product introduction, tooling, process development, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor while ensuring GD&T standards and safety, with

Qualifications

• Strong CAM programming experience (ideally Siemens NX).
• Background in automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering.
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, CAM Programmer, or Production Engineer.
• Experience in fixture design.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Apprentice-trained (HNC, HND or Bachelors degree).
• Hands-on problem solver in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop & optimise multi-axis CNC programs using CAM.
• Design and implement production fixturing.
• Take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept to production.
• Support new product introduction, tooling, and process development.
• Support shopfloor staff, driving continuous improvement.
• Estimate production times and costs, managing BOMs.
• Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
• Support the Company's compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 by following policy and best practice.
