Job summary

Belman in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced NX CAM Programmer to own the manufacturing strategy for precision components. You will work with machinists and production teams to develop efficient CNC processes and ensure quality from concept through to production.

The role focuses on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining of aerospace-grade materials such as Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, and Steel, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and combatting cycle times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAM programming for precision engineering.
• Strong background in 5-axis CNC machining.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAM and programming Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to create and manipulate CAD models and tooling data.
• Experience working with aerospace-grade materials.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CAM programs using Siemens NX CAM software.
• Develop machining strategies for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis components.
• Support manufacture of high-precision parts across sectors including Motorsport and Aerospace.
• Collaborate with machinists to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Generate setup sheets and documentation; troubleshoot issues and drive improvements.
