Job summary
Senior plc seeks a Production Engineer to support engineering functions within Lymington Precision Engineers. You will program, set and prove new products on 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centres, and develop manufacturing processes from design to high-volume manufacture.
The role emphasizes quality, efficiency and collaboration with the engineering team. Candidates should have 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience, and be capable of CAM modelling, ISO/ASME tolerancing, and ERP data
Qualifications
- 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
- Ability to program, set up and prove 3,4 & 5 axis on Mazak Integrex/machines.
- Create and load manufacturing process plans, routings, and ERP data.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up and prove new products on 3,4 & 5 axis centres.
- Create detailed process plans, routings and IFS ERP loads.
- Provide tooling, fixtures, gauges and setup sheets to manufacturing teams.
- Review and improve CNC programs and methods for capacity, quality and reliability.
- Train others and work with Engineering, Production and Quality teams.
