Job summary

Westin Par in Ramsgate, Kent seeks a Senior CAD Designer to drive design projects from concept to manufacture. You will produce 3D models, technical drawings and documentation using Autodesk Inventor while coordinating with clients and production teams.

You will mentor junior designers, promote design process improvements, and help deliver high-quality bespoke products on tight schedules in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a CAD Designer, Design Engineer, Technical Designer or similar role.
• Strong 3D CAD and technical drawing skills.
• Autodesk Inventor experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and experience managing projects and client relationships.
• An organised and practical approach to problem solving.
• HNC, HND or Degree qualified in a relevant engineering, manufacturing or design discipline.

Responsibilities

• Leading multiple design projects from initial brief to final manufacture.
• Producing 3D models, technical drawings and design documentation using Autodesk Inventor.
• Working directly with clients to develop concepts and bring ideas to life.
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are both commercially and technically successful.
