Job summary

Greenborne Joinery in Basingstoke is seeking a Joinery CAD Designer to produce precise technical drawings and ensure seamless integration of fixtures, fittings and building systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD (and Inventor) and a keen eye for detail are essential.

You'll join a collaborative workshop team, designing panelling, doors, windows and bespoke furniture for luxury homes and historic buildings, with a 41.5 hour week in an office-based role at our state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to hand sketch to communicate design ideas.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Set tolerances and fitting requirements for fixtures and fittings.
• Coordinate design and technical information with specialist supply chain (MEP/IT).
• Understand interface between structure and supplied products with attention to fixing details.
• Adapt designs to brief, balancing current and traditional trends and standards.
• Follow design styles set by the client’s teams.

As a Joinery CAD Designer, you'll create precise technical drawings, ensuring seamless integration of fixtures, fittings, and building systems. All the responsibilities we'll trust you with

• You'll allow tolerances and fitting requirements for fixtures and fittings.
• You'll accommodate mechanical, electrical AV and IT systems, including the sharing, communication and coordination of design and technical information with specialist supply chain.
• You'll understand the interface between building structure and product being supplied, including consideration of the fixing and fittings and attention to detail of these parts.
• You'll adapt your design styles to meet the brief, utilising current and traditional trends and standards.
• You'll follow and replicate design styles set by the client's teams.
