Job summary

Convergence Group in Solihull seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong C# skills to design and build the next generation of software powering the business.

The role focuses on creating scalable web apps using C#, JavaScript, React/Blazor, and Azure services, with emphasis on robust front-end and back-end integration, testing, and agile delivery. Hybrid work with a 3-day in-office pattern in Solihull is offered.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of C#.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Blazor, Next.js).
• Experience working knowledge of Azure cloud services and SQL databases.
• A solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Comfort with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Effective communicator who can translate complex technical ideas to developers and stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in producing & consuming technical documentation e.g user stories, database schemas, system guides.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using C#, JavaScript, and frameworks (React, Blazor, Next.js).
• Design intuitive front-end experiences and robust back-end logic with client-server integration.
• Implement new features with databases and API integration; manage and test features.
• Ensure software quality with unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Collaborate in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) and participate in standups and planning.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Engage in code reviews and QA to maintain standards and share knowledge.
• Drive improvements across the SDLC: tools, pipelines, architecture, and documentation.
