PX Group in Aberdeen is recruiting a Senior C&I Engineer to provide site support for control and instrumentation at the St Fergus Gas Terminal. You will work with maintenance and operations to design and implement modifications, troubleshoot instrumentation, valves, ESD, and metering systems.
The role offers on-site autonomy with training, performance reviews and development opportunities to enhance safety and reliability at the terminal.
Formación
- HNC in Control or Instrumentation or equivalent.
- Experience with IEC 61508/61511 safety lifecycle.
- Knowledge of HAZOPs, LOPA, and SIL.
- Desirable: functional safety certificate (e.g., TÜV Rheinland).
- Familiarity with UKCS offshore documentation (MIST/BOISET).
Responsabilidades
- Provide autonomous C&I support for SFGT with minimal supervision.
- Interface between engineering and terminal teams for C&I matters.
- Review work scopes and supervise engineers ensuring technical quality.
- Maximise equipment availability and define maintenance tactics for C&I.
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation and company procedures.
- Monitor instrument maintenance performance and address issues.
