Job summary

Centrica Gas Infrastructure is seeking an experienced SC&I Engineer to support system, control and instrumentation across offshore and onshore assets. You will travel to sites and help ensure compliance with engineering standards while supporting the Technical Authority.

Ideal candidates have SC&I engineering experience in oil & gas, with maintenance planning and risk management skills, and a proactive approach to HSE and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in SC&I Engineering within oil & gas or major accident hazard environments.
• Practical experience with maintenance management systems and functional assurance processes.
• Willingness to travel to onshore/offshore Centrica Gas Infrastructure assets and hold COMPEX/TUV certifications if not yet held.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to Centrica Gas Infrastructure assets with regular site visits, including offshore locations.
• Maintain technical integrity and apply standards to operations and projects.
• Support modifications/projects with technically appropriate solutions that meet safety, environmental and business requirements.
• Participate in Health, Safety and Environment improvements and risk management activities.
