Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer to support a multi-year UK nuclear infrastructure programme. You will act as technical authority for C&I activities, lead design reviews, and coordinate interfaces across engineering teams.

The role requires substantial C&I experience, knowledge of UK standards, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup with in-person office attendance three days a week. UK nationals only; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Substantial progressive experience in control and instrumentation engineering.
• Experience in nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries.
• Ability to coordinate technical interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for C&I engineering activities.
• Develop and review control philosophies, system architectures and design documentation.
• Coordinate interfaces between systems and disciplines to ensure compliant delivery.
