Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation Engineer in the United Kingdom for a nuclear infrastructure programme. The successful candidate will engage in engineering design efforts, execute project deliveries, and coordinate among multidisciplinary teams. This role offers a part-time telework option requiring at least three days on-site each week, with responsibilities extending to quality assurance and support of junior engineers.

The ideal applicant will possess a degree in a relevant engineering field and have extensive experience in a nuclear or regulated environment. Strong problem-solving skills and chartership with the IET are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automation/Controls/Instrumentation, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments, such as nuclear.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation work.
• Execute Electrical and Instrumentation deliverables according to requirements.
• Prepare, coordinate, and review designs, studies, reports, and proposals.
