NG Bailey Group is seeking a Senior Buyer for our Technical Facilities Services team, based in Leeds or Manchester with travel between sites. You’ll lead procurement across a defined area, shaping focus between regional accounts or categories, and report to the Procurement Manager.

You’ll influence procurement transformation, including CAFM, P2P and SRM implementations, and develop 1–2 direct reports while building strong supplier and client relationships.

Qualifications

• This role prefers a Facilities Management or M&E background.
• Experience in buying, category management or supplier/stakeholder relations.
• Familiarity with CAFM, P2P or SRM systems.
• Client-side experience is welcome.
• CIPS qualified or working towards Level 4/5; study support available.
• Experience in systems or procurement transformation projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead procurement activity across your area from strategy to order placement.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders and clients; conduct supplier reviews and ensure SLAs.
• Play a lead role in procurement and systems transformation, including digitisation and CAFM, P2P, SRM.
• Support the development of 1-2 direct reports and promote collaborative work.
• Contribute to margin improvement and cost-effective outcomes for your category.
• Produce procurement plans, savings trackers and reporting for senior stakeholders.
