Job summary

Quantum Design Oxford is seeking a Business Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the business systems that support our engineering projects, operations processes and decision‑making.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the role focuses on effective information flow, data integrity and access to accurate management information, with responsibility for day‑to‑day IT/BI systems, security and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree or significant experience in Business Systems Management.
• Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project would be valuable.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain systems across areas such as PLM, ERP and CRM, supporting sales, engineering and operations from opportunity assessment through to production scheduling, resource allocation, capacity planning and output forecasting.
• Lead and support the Business Systems and IT teams, ensuring effective day-to-day support, infrastructure reliability, cyber and data security, and continuous system improvement.
• Identify requirements, streamline processes, reduce duplication, support system implementations and provide clear dashboards and visual management information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
• Shape how information flows across the organisation and improve data integrity and access to management information.
