Job summary

Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. As a Business Operations Senior Associate on the Business Operations & Strategy team within the Institutional group, you'll partner directly with senior leadership on Coinbase's highest-priority strategic and operational challenges.

You'll work primarily with Institutional product and sales leaders, structuring complex problems, building quantitative business cases, and translating data into executive-level recommendations that shape

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy.
• Proven ability to build quantitative models and business cases that inform leadership decisions.
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto/digital assets markets.
• Track record of clear written and verbal recommendations to senior stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
• Exposure to SQL and BI tools (e.g., Hex, Superset, Looker) or crypto analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Etherscan) is a plus.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex strategic problems for Coinbase's leadership and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Build business cases and financial models to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
• Develop understanding of competitive positioning and crypto landscape to sharpen recommendations.
• Design experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive changes across Institutional products.
• Own problems end-to-end from framing to implementation, not just slides.
• Improve processes, frameworks, and operational tooling to strengthen the team.
