Job summary

HungryPanda is seeking a candidate in Australia to support merchant relations and market development for its Chinese food delivery platform. The role focuses on researching potential merchants, negotiating partnerships, and maintaining merchant materials and relations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive merchant activity, resolve issues, and optimize the merchant experience for a win-win collaboration. 1+ year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis based on the market environment and explore Chinese and Asian restaurants with order potential.
• Independently conduct business negotiations and cooperate with merchants; gather information, train on products, operate platform backend.
• Regular merchant visits and timely layout/replace merchant materials.
• Understand merchant problems and propose solutions based on different merchant needs.
• Resolve merchant issues and emergencies in daily operations.
• Work with marketing and delivery teams to increase merchant transactions and order numbers.
• Maintain healthy strategic partnerships; optimize merchant experience and enable win-win cooperation; perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibility:

• Conduct market research and analysis of competitors based on the market environment, and constantly explore Chinese and Asian restaurants with order potential.

• Independently conduct business negotiations and reach cooperation with merchants, be responsible for information collection, product training, and platform background operation.

• Regular merchant visits, apply for and timely layout/replace merchant materials for merchants.

• Understand the real problems of merchants, and propose solutions and suggestions according to the different needs of merchants.

• Actively solve the problems and emergencies encountered by merchants in their daily operations.

• According to the needs of merchants and data indicators, through collaboration with colleagues in the marketing department, delivery department, and other departments, promote the increase of merchant transaction volume and order numbers

• Manage and maintain a healthy and stable strategic partnership between merchants and the platform, optimize merchant experience, and achieve win-win cooperation between both partiesOther duties and responsibilities as required by management.
