Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, it has laboratories and offices across Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and California, USA, employing over 1,000 people worldwide. The company’s business covers over 30 provinces in China, as well as the United States and Europe. The ideal candidate will lead business development activities, drive sales, and manage marketing and customer service functions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and leverage new business opportunities within the UK market;
  • Develop and implement business and regulatory plans for the UK, achieving operational objectives;
  • Identify opportunities from marketing leads, and manage local business partnerships;
  • Report market information to headquarters promptly;
  • Collaborate with departments to establish operational processes for the UK market;
  • Enhance brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK;
  • Provide excellent customer service through prompt solutions to inquiries.

Qualifications/Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD products;
  • BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international experience preferred;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strategic and creative thinking with attention to detail and operational excellence;
  • Energetic and motivated to find new business opportunities quickly;
  • Familiar with selling imported products in Europe;
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
