Job summary

Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, with laboratories and offices across Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and California, USA, the company employs over 1,000 people worldwide. Its business spans over 30 provinces in China, as well as the United States and Europe.

The ideal candidate will lead business development activities, drive sales, and manage marketing and customer service in the UK market. They will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and expanding the company's presence.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the UK market, targeting potential new and existing customers.
  • Develop and execute business and regulatory plans for the UK, achieving operational objectives.
  • Identify marketing leads, communicate effectively, and manage local business partnerships.
  • Report market information to headquarters in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to establish operational processes for the UK market.
  • Enhance brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales within molecular pathology or IVD-related markets.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with attention to detail and operational excellence.
  • Energetic with a strong motivation to find new business opportunities quickly.
  • Familiarity with the business model of selling imported products in Europe.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
