Job Description:

KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions is looking for a Business Development Manager responsible for driving utilization and dependence upon KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions as the go-to place for all Microsoft services at KPMG and external clients. The role involves providing trusted advisor expertise, creating and progressing opportunities for MBS in the international market, and advocating innovation within the firm and with clients. The manager will also develop team members and promote collaboration across teams.

Role Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Owns the development and execution of a demand generation strategy for a key industry market to drive pipeline and sales to KPIs.
  • Develops positioning, messaging, and differentiation for Microsoft offerings through KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions.
  • Responsible for pipeline generation and sales execution.
  • Identifies opportunities to diversify across sub-industries, emerging technologies, and service propositions.
  • Works with KPMG teams to create integrated propositions to meet industry or client needs.
  • Leads interlock with the delivery organization to ensure robust contracts, supported delivery, and innovative commercial constructs.
  • Develops marketing and communication plans to drive pipeline in new client segments.
  • Manages client relationships and commercial engagements for successful delivery and long-term relationships.
Business Development – Execution
  • Cultivates relationships with senior stakeholders within strategic accounts.
  • Manages relationships within the KPMG partner network to generate pipeline.
  • Develops co-selling opportunities with key Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Leads bids and proposals for large transformation programs.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to clients on strategic business and technology needs.
  • Negotiates contracts ensuring compliance with company policies.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft solution sales.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, especially Dynamics 365, Office 365, and Azure.
  • Cross-industry experience, including Public Sector, Financial Services, and Consumer Markets.
  • Experience working with Microsoft to develop business and cloud solutions.
  • Experience in LLP organizations.
  • Proven track record of developing profitable, long-term relationships.
  • Ability to develop and lead demand generation strategies.
  • Experience leading Microsoft-centric transformation deals over £2m.
  • Development of solutions, consulting offerings, and assets for repeatable sales.
  • Strong network within Microsoft at the sales level.
  • Leadership in fostering knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Ability to lead sales interlock with delivery teams for profitable growth.
  • Passion for client engagement on technology issues and market trends.
  • Collaborative working style and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and address stakeholder concerns.
  • Experience building cooperative relationships and fostering inclusive environments.
  • Provides ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
