Job description

Purpose

To provide high-caliber, proactive sales support to the Commercial Team, maximizing effectiveness and ensuring team targets are met.

Job Role Accountabilities
  1. Provide logistical support to the Business Development team, including reviewing RFQs for quotations.
  2. Support business development managers and senior leaders during external calls, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
  3. Assist with smaller schemes and EBC accounts.
  4. Support the pre- and post-quotation processes, aiming to independently manage deals.
  5. Initiate the process on PRA forms to ensure compliance when deals are secured.
  6. Maintain and update presentations for meetings and events, including briefing packs and prospect intelligence.
  7. Assist the Marketing team with events, conferences, and related materials.
  8. Organize and attend meetings with relevant stakeholders, preparing briefing packs.
  9. Support the delivery and maintenance of monthly MI reports and team pipeline data.
  10. Help manage the CRM system, including testing and updates.
  11. Build internal and external relationships to support business goals.
  12. Keep competitor analysis current, including recent transactions.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills across different audiences.
  • Knowledge of Defined Benefit Schemes and the de-risking market.
  • Ability to liaise effectively at all levels internally and externally.
  • Capable of working under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet objectives within deadlines.
  • High initiative and self-motivation.
  • Proficient IT skills, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience
  • Experience with Defined Benefit Schemes and familiarity with the de-risking market.
