Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Architect to translate strategy into a clear, customer-centred blueprint. You will own and evolve the operating model, business capability framework and value streams, guiding investment in transformation while leading a team of architects.

The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days weekly in our main office, reporting to the Head of Strategic Planning and Transformation.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with 8+ years delivering transformation in a large organisation.
• Proven business architecture experience including capability modelling, value streams and operating model design.
• Experience leading and developing a team of business architects.
• Significant housing sector experience with understanding of social housing operations and regulatory requirements.
• Desirable certifications in business/enterprise architecture (TOGAF, BIZBOK, CBA).

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain NHG’s business capability model, defining capability taxonomies and levels to inform priorities aligned to strategy.
• Shape the Target Operating Model (TOM), linking strategy to end-to-end customer journeys, data, processes and enabling technology.
• Lead value-stream mapping and options analysis across NHG, proposing pragmatic roadmaps balancing value, risk, cost and time to benefit.
• Lead design work on projects and programmes entering transformation and change portfolio from current-state to target operating model.
• Define and steward business architecture principles and guardrails, embedding service design standards.
• Contribute to business cases and portfolio planning with capability-based impact assessments and dependencies.
• Build, lead and coach a team of Business Architects, allocating resources and evolving methods.
