Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale change, transformation, or technology programmes.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex business and functional requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management across organisational levels.
• Analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience facilitating workshops and leading requirement-gathering sessions.
• Experience within banking, financial services, capital markets, insurance, or other regulated environments, preferably.
• Knowledge of regulatory change initiatives and relevant industry standards.
• Familiarity with data analysis, process modelling, and business process improvement techniques.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Visio, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Professional BA certifications such as BCS/CBAP/Agile BA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements through workshops, interviews, process reviews, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, architects, and technical teams to define solutions that meet business needs.
• Produce high-quality documentation, including BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Maps, Gap Analyses, and Data Requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, define scope, and achieve agreement on project deliverables.
• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement, automation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
• Support the development of target operating models, business process redesign, and transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning, test execution, defect management, and business sign-off.
• Conduct impact assessments, risk analysis, and change management activities where required.
• Support programme governance by providing updates, status reports, requirements traceability, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions align with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards.
