About this role

We are hiring a highly strategic Senior Business Analyst to drive growth at Just Eat Takeaway’s global headquarters. This role acts as a key analytics partner for the Central Commercial team, supporting leadership with data-driven insights.

You will shape the commercial strategy for strategic accounts, including major Quick-Service Restaurants and Local Heroes, across 16+ countries. Collaborating with Exco-1 colleagues and their direct reports, you’ll analyze market trends, enhance performance reporting, and provide actionable insights.

Your strong stakeholder management and business acumen will ensure fact-based decision-making, enabling global teams to drive growth and maximize value for Just Eat Takeaway, its partners, and customers.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Senior Director Global Strategic Accounts

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Lead Trading Reports: Deliver monthly and in-month trading reports on same-store sales, YoY trading data, budget, and CPO, identifying growth opportunities in key brands and supply segments
• Sales Collaboration: Align with global sales teams to ensure data-driven strategies support commercial success
• Data & Reporting: Develop KPIs with SSO and Data & Analytics teams, leveraging Tableau & BigQuery for visualization
• Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competition, and industry shifts to guide strategy
• Growth & Strategy: Use market share, consumer sentiment, and operational metrics to drive growth recommendations.
• Strategic Insights: Translate complex data into actionable insights on ordering behavior, market share, marketing, and logistics
• Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Ops, and Finance, staying ahead of industry trends for innovation

What will you bring to the table?

• Multiple years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field; data engineering skills are a plus.
• Experience working at a tech company is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to transform data into actionable insights, especially in consulting, finance, or business analytics.
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Google BigQuery to extract insights from large datasets.
• Skilled in exploring and connecting to various data sources, including third-party data providers, APIs, data scraping tools, and public data sources.
• Expertise in data visualization using Tableau, PowerPoint, and Excel; capable of communicating complex analysis to senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• High energy, autonomy, and resilience with a "Get it done" attitude; excellent interpersonal skills, inquisitive mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
