Job Summary

Global Finance Integration team (GFI) is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our expanding team in Equinix. This position offers an opportunity for the ideal candidate to be involved in delivering finance projects, including integrations, focusing on finance system implementation, enhancements, support, and maintenance. Working with cross-functional departments at all levels, this role will facilitate planning and execution of finance projects and systems across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Create and coordinate project plans and resources, executing them with appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure resources are allocated effectively.
• Work with stakeholders to gain alignment during implementation and post-implementation.
• Communicate team progress regularly.
• Develop scope, project charter, and stakeholder analysis.
• Apply project management best practices, including Lean Six Sigma.
• Identify and manage risks and issues.

Participate in finance projects and system implementation, including but not limited to:

• Develop strategies, plans, and execute finance projects.
• Discover and analyze business processes, perform gap analysis, and produce detailed As-Is process flows.
• Identify solutions for gaps, prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and review Functional Design Documents (FDD).
• Prepare detailed solution design documentation.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage and execute data cleansing activities in collaboration with Data Migration Team.
• Perform data mapping exercises.
• Manage and execute system cut-over plans.
• Produce project status reports, highlighting issues and risks.

Apply functional Oracle Cloud knowledge to design and configure Oracle Cloud and related applications to meet organizational requirements. Understand the content, processes, and procedures related to Oracle Cloud implementation and maintenance.

• Champion sustainable and forward-looking configurations aligned with business roadmaps.
• Configure applications in line with business goals and develop configuration standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designs, researching best practices and assessing latest innovations.

Provide post go-live support and maintenance:

• Manage support requests to ensure timely resolution and identify improvements for recurring issues.
• Monitor system performance post-implementation.
• Create and update project documentation (e.g., Playbook, Toolkits, Templates).

Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience in Oracle Cloud, focusing on GL, Accounting Hub, Account Reconciliations, and Fixed Assets.
• Qualified Accountant with relevant work experience.
• Ability to engineer solutions based on ground realities.
• Hands-on skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to management.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a constantly changing environment.
• Effective engagement and communication with multiple stakeholders across financial and non-financial disciplines at various levels.
• Willingness to travel globally.

Desirable

• Proficiency in producing high-quality Visio process flows and PowerPoint presentations; strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with Oracle EPM products like EDMCS, FCCS, PBCS.
• Knowledge of SOX controls, compliance, and change management.
• PMP / Prince2 certification or equivalent.
• Experience working on integration projects.
• Strong project management, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Awareness of USGAAP requirements.
