Job summary

Thames Water, the UK’s largest water company, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive digital transformation and deliver high-profile initiatives that benefit customers, communities and the environment.

You will influence senior stakeholders, mentor analysts and help shape the BA function across the organisation, while delivering value in complex projects with multiple delivery partners.

Qualifications

• Business Analysis experience in a digital project environment.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods and tools such as ADO.
• Strong communication skills across the organisation at all levels.
• Ability to work on complex projects with multiple delivery partners/stakeholders.
• BCS (or equivalent) Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Engage effectively with stakeholders to build trusted relationships and tailor communication to their needs.
• Collaborate with project teams, portfolio and business stakeholders to build relationships and meet user needs.
• Leads business analysts’ team on projects with more than 1 analyst.
• Apply BA techniques to analyse current services and processes against problem statements, needs and outcomes.
• Evaluate and document business and non-functional requirements using relevant techniques.
• Guide and challenge preconceptions to drive collaboration across teams to optimise opportunities.
• Ensure documentation and deliverables meet required quality for successful delivery.
• Support the ongoing development of the BA team and adoption of agile principles and practices.
