Job summary

LGC Limited’s BRCGS is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape digital products across Directory, Educate and Participate, translating business needs into clear requirements and driving data-driven decisions.

Hybrid work with weekly attendance at the Victoria office; collaborate with product, engineering and QA teams; mentor analysts and explore AI-enabled opportunities to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst within a software or digital product environment.
• Strong Agile experience, including Scrum, Kanban and user story development.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience defining KPIs, success measures and product outcomes.
• Ability to coach or mentor others and share best practice.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills, with data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across BRCGS digital products, translating business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges, find opportunities and ensure solutions align with business strategy and customer needs.
• Support product delivery from discovery through to release, including testing, sprint planning and continuous improvement activities.
• Use data and insights to evaluate performance, define success measures and support evidence-based decision making.
• Help shape AI-enabled opportunities by identifying practical applications, risks and business benefits.
• Coach and support Business Analysts, promoting best practice and building team capability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, problem-solving and user-focused thinking.
