Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate complex change into clear, validated requirements aligned with strategic priorities. You will lead elicitation, analysis and documentation, and collaborate with Product Owners, project managers and development teams to drive successful delivery.

The role supports a hybrid working pattern, with three days in the Skipton office and two days remote, enabling flexible collaboration while maintaining strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to explore different perspectives, solve problems and make confident decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence, engage and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
• A sound knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and professional best practice, including user stories and agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation across projects, BAU improvements and new initiatives.
• Support teams to write effective user stories and facilitate agile events.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, project managers, development and testing teams to ensure delivery.
• Promote standards, tools and techniques across the BA community and coach others.
