Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to provide strategic analysis leadership across our delivery squads, shaping and enabling complex change initiatives. This role leads business analysis across the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring high-quality requirements, clear traceability, and strong alignment between business outcomes and technical solutions.

You will lead and develop Business Analysts, collaborate with stakeholders, architects and engineering teams

Qualifications

Extensive BA experience in regulated environments (e.g. Financial Services).
Proven track record leading large-scale change programmes.
Experience with full requirements lifecycle, traceability and UAT.

Responsibilities

Lead BA activity across multiple initiatives within a Delivery Squad.
Own end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from early scoping through to delivery and UAT.
Define, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure full traceability from business outcomes through to design, testing and implementation.
Work closely with stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to translate business needs into effective solutions.
Lead and develop Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts, driving high standards and performance.
Support demand shaping, business case development and prioritisation.
Drive high-quality process and impact analysis across business and technology change.
Ensure alignment to governance frameworks and consistent analysis standards.
