Landmarc is a leading Industry Partner for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), managing the Defence Training Estate (DTE). With a new 10-year contract (TESC) starting in 2024, they deliver exceptional services. Their IT Department supports their mission by maintaining user-facing IT services.
The Technology Enablement Team engages with various business units to ensure technology initiatives align with business priorities and IT strategy. The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions by analyzing, documenting requirements, and ensuring successful product delivery.
This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and creating documentation like BRDs and User Stories. You will act as Product Owner, developing product visions, managing backlogs, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Stakeholder management is critical; you'll collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate communication, and manage expectations. You will work with technical teams to design and validate solutions, oversee UAT, and promote continuous improvement through industry best practices.
Leadership and mentorship are also essential, guiding junior analysts and supporting team frameworks, tools, and processes. You will advise on new initiatives and assist with the rollout of IT services, providing training where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Agile and Scrum, a relevant degree, and certifications like Certified ScrumMaster or Agile Project Management are highly desirable.
Experience with project management tools (ADO, Miro), data analysis, ITIL processes, and familiarity with facilities or asset management, especially within the MoD context, will set you apart.
