The Role:

This project focuses on developing and implementing a joint commercial model across sales and trading businesses. The role involves understanding, developing, delivering, and refining the commercial model, ensuring all business requirements are gathered and successfully implemented.

Description

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

1. Collaborate with key sales stakeholders to collect comprehensive business requirements for the joint commercial model.
2. Examine and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
3. Develop use cases, user stories, and functional specifications based on business needs.
4. Partner with internal and external teams to understand data dependencies and system integrations.

Impact Assessment:

1. Evaluate the impact of proposed changes and new initiatives (e.g., gas purchase process, operating model, pricing tools) on existing systems, processes, and business operations.
2. Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement in business processes and operations.
3. Conduct gap analysis to ensure new solutions meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
4. Develop business cases to support decisions on changes and justify the need for improvements.
