Responsibilities include:

• Collect, challenge, facilitate and document business requirements in Waterfall, or generate a set of Features, Epics & User stories in Agile Scrum.
• Validate the overall IT solution to ensure alignment to business requirements, review requirements and/or specifications with the development and test teams to ensure understanding.
• Assess the feasibility & benefits of proposed projects using process, system and business knowledge / experience.
• Collaborate with Transformation & Change Delivery process resources to ensure requirements and solutions fit into the process flow.
• Help identify how requirements can improve process efficiency.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and support issues/changes in production.

The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Business Analyst Lead.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Extensive domain knowledge of (Re)Insurance & Ceded Reinsurance, Lloyd’s and Genius experience preferred.
• Ability to extract and document business requirements supporting technical solutions.
• Experience supporting all SDLC phases, including UAT.
• Familiarity with Business Analyst techniques such as User interviews, Workshops, Business Process Modelling, Use cases, As-is and To-Be analysis.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage ambiguity.
• Experience with data and complex systems in the insurance market.
