A leading company in the insurance sector is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support their rapidly growing Product Team. The role involves gathering stakeholder requirements, optimizing business processes, and ensuring alignment between IT and business needs during significant system migrations. Ideal candidates will have extensive insurance experience and strong analytical skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in the City of London.

This is a Group level role supporting the Product Team within our client. It is an exciting time to join as they are growing rapidly and are looking to promote hardworking individuals with more responsibility quickly. The environment is fast-paced.
The Business Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, including customers and end users. This involves interviewing stakeholders, gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions needed.
The Business Analyst will apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make appropriate technology decisions. They will also proactively work with suppliers to explore new technologies to optimize business processes.
The Business Analyst will play a key role in ensuring IT understands business requirements during several strategic migration projects from legacy systems. Responsibilities include producing “as-is” and “to-be” process maps, challenging norms, building functional and non-functional specifications, creating configuration and user guides, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to design improved processes.
