Your role as Senior Business Analyst will be primarily a business-facing role, requiring both strong ‘soft’ and technical skills. The ability to work effectively in a less structured environment with changing stakeholder requirements is essential. An appreciation for continual improvement and a commitment to business continuity are also important.

Responsibilities

1. Gather data and facts to document the current state of business problems and support decision-making to inform the Change Delivery Roadmap.
2. Critically evaluate information from various sources and reconcile conflicts.
3. Deliver quality analysis and design documentation; formulate, refine, and baseline business requirements with thorough acceptance criteria to ensure the end product is fit for purpose.
4. Lead requirement workshops, elicit, document, and validate requirements, ensuring all aspects of the problem domain are within scope, complete, and deliverable.
5. Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and requirements.
6. Translate requirements into business processes using Business Process Mapping & Notation (BPMN).
7. Understand and articulate the costs and benefits of changes, working with finance to model impacts on Profit & Loss.

About You

Your Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you should have end-to-end BA experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to simplify technical jargon. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience within a delivery/project environment with strong planning and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines.
• Possession of a BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or Green Belt certification.
• Flexibility to adapt working methods to different delivery frameworks such as Waterfall or Agile.
• Knowledge or experience in the legal sector or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting business change initiatives using frameworks and tools.
