We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a period of approximately 9 months to gather requirements for key scopes and evaluate suitable solutions available in the marketplace. This role is based in Aberdeen, and presence in the office is required. It is a PAYE contract role.

Candidates must have previous experience in Data Analysis and Reporting within an Oil & Gas Operator business, with ideally some exposure to Environmental / Risk areas.

You will be responsible for driving the delivery of the required scopes to ensure tangible progress.

Candidates should have experience with similar projects and dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Flare & Vent consent tracking - Wider review of Environmental reporting (investigate EmissionsAI)

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in a similar business systems role
• Previous demonstrable experience in applications/business analyst roles working with one or more enterprise systems
• Experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred
• Excellent business and technical analysis skills
• Project Management certification or equivalent work experience
• A methodical and structured approach to problem solving, utilizing appropriate methods, procedures, tools, and standards to meet targets
• Ability to identify gaps in information and devise solutions
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries and cultures; a team player
• Proactive, adaptable, with a forward-looking mindset
• Knowledge of relevant current and emerging technologies through literature, conferences, seminars, and professional networking
• Business Intelligence skills are desirable
• Understanding of database structures and technologies is desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
