Job summary

Reaseheath College and University Centre is seeking an Advanced Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality, progressive training for Bus and Coach Apprentices. This is a permanent role, 37 hours per week, on our Nantwich campus, with block-release delivery to apprentices.

You will bring industry experience, a Level 3 qualification, and strong teaching or mentoring skills. We offer a welcome bonus, CPD support, a pension, and a broad range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Bus and Coach operations, maintenance or engineering.
• A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong teaching, training, or mentoring skills (teaching qualifications desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and qualifications.
• A passion for innovation and inspiring the next generation of rail professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality apprenticeship training aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
• Inspire and mentor learners through engaging theory, practical sessions, and assessments.
• Conduct vocational assessments on-site and off-site across national programmes.
• Collaborate across the Engineering department to share expertise and support delivery.
• Provide ongoing guidance to apprentices and employer partners.
• Uphold health, safety, compliance, and safeguarding in all activities.
