Job summary

Reaseheath College and University Centre is seeking an Advanced Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality bus and coach training for apprentices. Based at our Cheshire campus, you will work with industry partners to ensure practical, industry-aligned delivery while supporting learners on block release.

The role emphasizes on-site and off-site assessments, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Bus and Coach operations, maintenance or engineering.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong teaching or mentoring skills; teaching qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, health and safety standards.
• Passion for innovation and inspiring the next generation of transport professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality apprenticeship training aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
• Inspire and mentor learners through engaging theory, practical sessions, and assessments.
• Conduct vocational assessments on-site and off-site across national programmes.
• Collaborate across the Engineering department to share expertise and support delivery.
• Provide ongoing guidance to apprentices and employer partners.
• Uphold health, safety, compliance, and safeguarding in all activities.
