Job summary

Reaseheath College and University Centre is seeking an Advanced Technical Trainer in Agricultural Engineering to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training for learners on block release from employers. You will work across national programmes in state-of-the-art facilities, including our Advanced Engineering and Agri-Tech Centre, supporting CPD and hands-on learning.

The role requires industry experience in Agricultural Engineering, a Level 3 qualification, and strong teaching or mentoring

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
• Industry experience in Agricultural Engineering.
• Teaching qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality apprenticeship training aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
• Inspire and mentor learners through engaging theory, practical sessions and assessments.
• Conduct vocational assessments on-site and off-site across national programmes.
• Collaborate across the Engineering department to share expertise and support delivery.
• Provide ongoing guidance to apprentices and employer partners.
• Uphold health, safety, compliance and safeguarding in all activities.
