Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is representing a multi-disciplinary Built Environment Consultancy in search of a Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager. The role covers advisory and project-driven work, with responsibilities across contract administration and employers’ agent duties for projects from £500k to £50m.

You will manage multiple projects, lead project teams, and apply knowledge of JCT contracts as a core requirement.

Qualifications

• Degree or Apprenticeship educated with a relevant building surveying or project management qualification.
• RICS accredited qualification preferred; candidates willing to work towards RICS accreditation will be considered.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of projects as project manager, contract administrator, employers’ agent or lead consultant.
• Work across advisory and consultancy, with a project bias and multiple assignments.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts is essential; familiarity with NEC and other procurement routes is advantageous.
• Coordinate project teams, ensure procurement and contract compliance, and drive project outcomes.
