Turner Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor for its growing team in St Austell.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy with a strong pipeline of work across both public and private sectors. The successful candidate will lead a broad range of professional and project services while supporting the continued growth of the Building Surveying team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Building Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• Experience delivering both professional Building Surveying services and project work.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Undertake buildings surveys, condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting across a diverse client base.
• Act as Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator, managing projects from tender through to final account.
• Support the growth and development of the Building Surveying team, ensuring consistently high standards of technical delivery and client service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice on dilapidations, planned maintenance, party wall matters and wider building consultancy services.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors while working closely with senior leadership to contribute to the continued growth of the business.
