Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor in Leeds to lead major project instructions across education, healthcare, commercial, and public sector property. You will drive client relationships, mentor junior staff, and shape the Leeds team’s growth with progression towards more senior leadership.

The role is project-focused, with exposure to high-profile buildings and public sector programs. MRICS or progression towards chartership is preferred.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification, or working towards chartership.
• Building surveying experience within a consultancy.
• Strong track record of project delivery.
• Experience across public sector or commercial property.
• Ability to manage projects and workloads independently.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience supporting junior team members.
• Interest in business development and growing client relationships.
• Collaborative approach across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception through to completion.
• Act as Contract Administrator and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Manage established client relationships and develop repeat instructions.
• Deliver technical building surveying advice across varied sectors.
• Undertake technical reviews and maintain high delivery standards.
• Support and mentor junior surveyors.
• Contribute to business development across Yorkshire.
• Produce clear reports, recommendations and project documentation.
