Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to manage refurbishment, redevelopment and professional instructions across a sizeable London property portfolio. You will work client-side with direct access to decision-makers, handling both commercial and residential assets with autonomy.

You will act as Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent, delivering schemes through occupied and vacant properties while providing dilapidations, defect diagnosis, party wall advice and

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification and post-qualification experience.
• Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent.
• Private practice or client-side experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial and residential surveying.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications and schedules of work for tender.
• Manage tender processes and report on contractor submissions.
• Deliver projects as Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent.
• Undertake landlord-side dilapidations inspections and negotiate claims.
• Diagnose defects across commercial and residential properties.
• Review tenant alteration proposals and inspect completed works.
• Prepare planned maintenance reports and capital expenditure plans.
• Produce schedules of condition and undertake party wall work.
• Advise on energy-efficiency legislation and EPC requirements
