Morson Edge is recruiting a Senior Building Surveyor in Leeds to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy. You will deliver a broad range of building surveying services across sectors, manage refurbishment projects, and mentor junior colleagues.

Ideal candidates will be MRICS qualified, with consultancy experience and strong client-facing skills. The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership).
• Previous consultancy experience within Building Surveying.
• Strong project management and technical building surveying experience.
• Experience delivering projects across commercial, public sector or mixed-use developments.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong report writing and technical presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of building surveying services across multiple sectors.
• Lead and manage refurbishment, alteration and improvement projects from inception through to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and contract documentation.
• Carry out technical reviews to ensure high standards of project delivery.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Mentor and support junior Building Surveyors within the team.
• Contribute to business development and support the continued growth of the Building Surveying team.
