Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Southampton is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to lead professional surveying services, manage projects from inception to completion and mentor junior surveyors.

You'll work with diverse clients across public and private sectors, with hybrid working, a salary up to £65,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• Proven consultancy/building surveying experience.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with budget control.
• Proactive approach to mentoring and business development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of professional building surveying services including condition surveys, defect diagnosis and maintenance programmes.
• Lead refurbishment, repair and improvement projects across multiple sectors.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, tender docs and technical reports.
• Act as Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent on variety of projects.
• Manage project delivery to meet quality, programme and budget objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, health and safety and industry best practice.
