AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure division has an opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our offices, working in a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver a full suite of Building Surveying services. We offer varied and interesting work with high-profile public and private sector clients.

This role provides excellent prospects for a driven individual who enjoys working collaboratively within a vibrant team, managing client relationships, and handling legal and technical issues.

We seek a Chartered Building Surveyor with post-qualification experience eager to develop their career within a forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and delivering a range of building surveying and project management duties across various projects and sectors.
• Assisting in developing new and repeat business across sectors.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring service delivery on projects.
• Supporting senior managers with daily business operations, including:
• Project management and contract administration.
• Due diligence and condition surveys.
• Design and implementation of projects.
• Providing professional services such as Party Wall matters.
• Applying standard forms of building contracts like JCT and NEC.
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and best practices.
• Managing frameworks and gaining experience in sectors such as education, local authorities, healthcare, central government, and infrastructure projects.
• Conducting defect analysis, building surveys, and producing reports and specifications.
• Understanding quality, safety, and environmental principles in project management.

Requirements:

• Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent.
• Proven all-round surveying experience.
• Strong teamworking and communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to liaise with senior colleagues to build a profitable, high-performing team.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous.
• Awareness of BIM systems.
• Mentoring experience with APC graduates.
• Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
